6f59993e1b Move the fallback define for GL_PACK_INVERT_MESA
The if-undefined fallback declaration for GL_PACK_INVERT_MESA was
originally added in cogl.c along with code to use it (as part of commit
6f79eb8a5a530fc2fd0a9aed90da172fbf05f742). Later on, commit
10a38bb14fac3ba8dc05115feb04bde56dc590e7 moved the code that used it to
cogl-framebuffer.c but didn't move the define along with it. Do that
now.

708d385866 actor: Annotate signals to enable some optimization
The ::paint, ::queue-redraw, and ::queue-relayout signals should be
marked as no-recurse and no-hooks; these signals are emitted *a lot*
during each frame, and since GLib has a bunch of optimizations for
signals with no closures, we should try and squeeze every single CPU
cycle we can.

5361e0259f display: Add accessor function for ignored_modifier_mask
Some modifiers like NumLock and ScrollLock don't make sense in
keybindings, which is why we ignore them when matching keybindings
to events. We should do the same in Javascript, so add an accessor
function.

047b9de1c6 Fix move-to-corner keybindings
The move-to-corner keybindings weren't treated as user actions, which
resulted in them not affecting the saved position - they weren't
always being treated as sticky. Marking them as a user action revealed
bugs in the positioning logic that were hidden by the constraint
code applied to automated moves. Fix those as well. Bug tracked
down by Mariusz Libera.

We no longer have COGL_ENABLE_EXPERIMENTAL_API in cogl.symbols as those
APIs are always built into the COGL DLL, so the
-DCOGL_ENABLE_EXPERIMENTAL_API is not needed anymore in the cogl.def

607dbf0f43 prefs: Add dynamic-workspaces setting
We currently sync the number of workspaces with the corresponding
preference. This is not really useful with GNOME Shell's dynamic
handling of workspaces, not least as the setting is effectively
ignored. Worse, it will trigger writes to dconf on login, slowing
down startup, so add a setting to indicate that workspaces are managed
dynamically and really ignore the num-workspaces setting when set.

2196518b00 Don't export cogl_gl_error_to_string
This is only used internally when debugging is enabled to give a
human-readable name to a GL error so we shouldn't be exporting it
outside of the library. This just adds an underscore to the symbol
name. This shouldn't end up removing any public symbols from the 1.9.8
release because by default a non-git build disables debug so it wasn't
exported anyway.

361bd516f3 Add compatibility API for functions removed after 1.9.8
The cleanup in 185630085 removed some symbols that were previously
exported as public experimental API in Cogl 1.9.8. That release is
already well after the point where we were meant to freeze the ABI so
we probably shouldn't be breaking it again. This patch adds the
removed functions back in so that for 1.9.10 we won't have to bump the
soname. The symbols are bundled together in a new file called
cogl2-compatibility.c so that they will be easy to remove again after
we can break ABI. It is expected that we will revert this patch
immediately after branching for Cogl 1.10.
