e6790038dd wayland: Use an event filter instead of the captured event signal
In order to see all Clutter events, Mutter was previously installing a
signal handler on the ‘captured-event’ signal on the stage and
additionally using a signal emission hook to cope with grabs. This
changes it to use the new clutter_event_add_filter API so that we can
avoid the signal emission hook hack.

e86c53230f display: Move the pointer event handling code to work in terms of Clutter events
There is now a meta_display_handle_event alongside the
meta_display_handle_xevent function which handles events in terms of
Clutter events instead of X events. A Clutter event filter is
registered so that all Clutter events will pass through this function.
The pointer event handling code from the X event version has been moved
into this new function and has been modified to use the details from
the Clutter event instead of the X event. This is a step towards
moving all of the event handling code over to use Clutter events.

93ae868987 wayland: sync the keymap from X to wayland
When X clients change the keyboard map, the also update a property
on the root window. We can notice that and rebuild our data structures
with the new values, as well as inform the wayland clients.

This is a terrible hack, and it's not how we want to implement things
in 3.12, but it's enough to have the same keyboard layout in the
shell, in X clients and in wayland clients in 3.10, until we decide
on the fate of the keyboard g-s-d plugin.

237d990dea mutter-wl: Support setting NULL surface regions.
According to the wayland spec (A.14.1.5. wl_surface::set_opaque_region),
setting a NULL opaque region is possible and should cause the pending
opaque region to be set to empty. This implements the required
behavoir.

Also fixes set_input_region, which suffered from an analogous bug.

Previously the weston-simple-egl demo client caused mutter-wayland to
crash with a segfault in meta_wayland_surface_set_opaque_region, with
this patch it works as intended.

b82784ee46 display: Don't focus the no-focus-window when sending WM_TAKE_FOCUS to a globally active window
Clients like on-screen keyboards try not to take focus when the user clicks
on their window by setting the Input hint to false. However, due to GTK+ and
GDK bugs, the public API for setting the Input hint to false don't remove
WM_TAKE_FOCUS from WM_PROTOCOLS, unintentionally putting them into Globally
Active mode.

These clients also expect that since they don't want to take focus, they want
the focus to remain on the existing window. In this case, for clients like
on-screen keyboards, it's so they can send synthesized keyboard events to the
focused window.

a8e04a7d6b Add API to control per-framebuffer depth writing
Add framebuffer methods cogl_framebuffer_[gs]et_depth_write_enabled()
and backend bits to pass the state on to glDepthMask().

This allows us to enable or disable depth writing per-framebuffer, which
if disabled saves us some work in glClear(). When rendering, the flag
is combined with the pipeline's depth writing flag using a logical AND.

Depth writing is enabled by default.

18486a6aa9 egl: forward declare wl_resource for compatibility
Depending on what version of Mesa you have then eglQueryWaylandBuffer
may take a wl_buffer or wl_resource argument and the EGL header will
only forward declare the corresponding type.

The use of wl_buffer has been deprecated and so internally we assume
that eglQueryWaylandBuffer takes a wl_resource but for compatibility we
forward declare wl_resource in case we are building with EGL headers
that still use wl_buffer.

669b3ad864 pipeline: notify all progends of changes
When a pipeline is notified of a change we now make sure to notify all
progends of that change not just the progend directly associated with
that pipeline. A pipeline can have private state associated with it from
multiple progends because descendants will always try and cache state on
ancestors to maximize the chance that the state can later be re-used.
Descendants may be using different progends than the ancestors that they
cache state with.

99a0be890e conform: check we invalidate ancestor cached state
In the cases where we cache vertex state with an ancestor pipeline (whose
vertex processing state is equivalent) we need to invalidate that state
if that ancestor is later modified.

This conformance test checks this case but currently fails because we
only notify the progend directly associated with the pipeline being
changed.

In this case the pipeline can be using a different progend to the
ancestor which it is caching state with so when the ancestor is changed
it needs to notify all the progends that they may need to clear their
private state.

a93e789a7c Avoid conflicting client/server wayland includes
This avoids including wayland-server.h in cogl-display-private.h which
avoid lots of compile time warnings that wl_buffer is deprecated. The
problem is that wl_buffer is also exposed in the client side headers and
isn't deprecated for clients. If we end up including the client and
server headers in the same compilation unit we can get conflicting
definitions.
