8fb8f7f827 init: Move Meta main loop into JavaScript after GJS context is initialized
gjs now has an internal mainloop that it can spin to resolve
module imports. That loop uses the thread default context,
so its possible that other sources, namely from mutter, get
dispatched when iterating the context. If that happens before
mutter is properly initialized, this will lead to a crash.

GjsContext needs to iterate its internal mainloop when initializing
to resolve internal modules, to avoid iterating Meta's mainloop and
triggering events before Meta is ready we will initialize the Shell
global and thus the GjsContext (js_context) before Meta.

Once GjsContext is initialized, we can call meta_context_setup().
Once Meta is setup and started, we'll run init.js which uses GJS'
internal promises API to set a "mainloop hook". The mainloop hook
is run immediately after the module returns so GJS will not attempt
to iterate the main loop again before exiting.

Also adjust the 'headlessStart' test to not wait for the
MetaContext::started signal, as that signal has now already
been emitted when the code is executed.

0d8e0025d6 init: Set console log domain
GJS added a console module that extensions may start using. To ensure that
extensions using console.log() and similar functions don't show up as
'Gjs-Console' in users' system logs, we should call setConsoleLogdomain()
with 'GNOME Shell'.

This GJS API addition is only accessible using ECMAScript Modules (ESM),
this commit moves shell startup to a small init.js module and adapts
CI jobs to either handle or ignore it.

We can drop the .jscheckignore file when future versions of SpiderMonkey
allow for compile checks without validating module specifiers.

443c8347ea locatePointer: Add implementation in gnome-shell
The "locate pointer" functionality was implemented in gnome settings
daemon using X11 protocols and would fail when run under Wayland.

With Wayland, there is no global coordinate space exposed to the clients
so this functionality cannot be implemented as a separate program.

Instead, add the "locate pointer" functionality in gnome-shell so that
it works in both X11 and Wayland.

just revert it.

b8a8edc513 Don't try to use GLX if Cogl isn't using that Winsys
Instead of directly using symbols from GLX to check for the swap event
notification, the plugin now first verifies that the Cogl renderer is
actually using the GLX winsys and then indirectly fetches the pointers
for the GLX functions using cogl_get_proc_address. That way it will
continue to work if Cogl is using an EGL winsys.

Nothing in the Gnome Shell plugin now directly uses symbols from libGL
so we don't need to link to it. This helps to avoid problems linking
against two GL APIs when cogl is using a non-GL driver such as GLES2.

7921954a31 environment: move more init stuff here from main.js
Move some more environment-initializationy stuff from main.js to
environment.js, and be more careful about not importing shell JS
modules until after the environment has been fully patched.

Change gnome-shell-plugin to call Environment.init() before
Main.start(); this means that Environment.init() now runs before any
shell JS modules (besides environment itself) have been imported.

Make run-js-test create a ShellGlobal and use its js_context, so that
the shell_global_set_property_mutable() stuff in Environment.init()
will work correctly in tests as well.
