- they run entirely in C, while Tweener requires context switches
to JS each frame
- they are more reliable, as Tweener only detects when an animation

The different units - seconds for Tweener and milliseconds for
timeouts - are not a big issue currently, as there is little
overlap. However this will change when we start using Clutter's
own animation framework (which uses milliseconds as well), in
particular where constants are shared between modules.
In order to prepare for the transition, define all animation times
as milliseconds and adjust them when passing them to Tweener.

LevelBar is not really used, all the checks are implemented inside
BarLevel as well and the accessible name is wrong because the osdWindow
doesn't only show the volume, but also the brightness and other things.
The workaround for updating the bars width is also no longer needed now
that we have BarLevel.

Braces are optional for single-line arrow functions, but there's a
subtle difference:
Without braces, the expression is implicitly used as return value; with
braces, the function returns nothing unless there's an explicit return.
We currently reflect that in our style by only omitting braces when the
function is expected to have a return value, but that's not very obvious,
not an important differentiation to make, and not easy to express in an
automatic rule.
So just omit braces consistently as mandated by gjs' coding style.

ES6 finally adds standard class syntax to the language, so we can
replace our custom Lang.Class framework with the new syntax. Any
classes that inherit from GObject will need special treatment,
so limit the port to regular javascript classes for now.

Since we started to show OSD windows on all monitors, OSD windows are
destroyed when the corresponding monitor is disconnected. We shouldn't
leave any signal handlers around in that case - they prevent the object
from being garbage collected, and trigger warnings for accessing proper-
ties of invalidated GObjects.

When maxLevel is > 100%, first OSD appearance was capping the current
level to 100%. Consecutives key press were then OK.
Ensure we setMaxLevel before setting Level itself, so that correct cap
value is applied.
Allow osd representing levels that can be more than 100% by accepting
an optional parameter setting that maximum level.
gnome-settings-daemon will use this to indicate volume levels above 100%,
which our own volume indicator will soon support as well.
Reuse the BarLevel class to get similar drawing behavior as Slider.

When not using arrow notation with anonymous functions, we use Lang.bind()
to bind `this` to named callbacks. However since ES5, this functionality
is already provided by Function.prototype.bind() - in fact, Lang.bind()
itself uses it when no extra arguments are specified. Just use the built-in
function directly where possible, and use arrow notation in the few places
where we pass additional arguments.

We currently rely on the "monitors-changed" signal of LayoutManager to
relayout the OSD window. That is not enough, since the scale factor also
changes the way the OSD window is sized, and that can be updated after
"monitors-changed" has been received.
The visual effect is that under some circumstances, the OSD window will
have the wrong size under HiDpi.
This commit fixes the issue by triggering another relayout when the
scale factor changes.

Commit 9b07ce1d0d changed the OSD window's level bar to be a regular
actor instead of a custom drawn bar. The bar actor's width depends on
both the configured level (e.g. 40%) and the available width, however
the width is currently only updated when the configured level changes.
Fix that by properly considering changes to the parent's width as well.

When a monitor is removed, the OsdWindow for that monitor may process
the monitors-changed signal before OsdWindowManager does (which will
remove the OSD). If that happens, we will currently try to access
an invalid monitor; check for this to avoid a couple of warning.

regression insomuch that it checks for a valid "level" but simply using
"if (level)" which will be false if level is undefined and if
level == 0.

We had one osdWindow that we displayed either on the primary monitor or on
whatever monitor index got passed over dbus.
Change that to show the osd on all monitors when no explicit monitor is
requested. A monitor should be requested in cases like display brightness where it makes sense to only show the osd on the affected monitor.

parameter may contain an integer to indicate the monitor number.

When the osd window is hidden based on the timeout, it accidentally
left the timeout ID in place. When a subsequent switcher popup came
up, it thought the OSD window was scheduled to be hidden and tried
to re-hide the actor. This caused the tween to be run along with
an extra call to enable_unredirect_for_screen.
The popup currently has a fixed size based on monitor size. As a result,
the popup's content may overflow if its minimum size is larger than the
popup size. To prevent this, use min-width/min-height for the popup size
so that the popup can grow if necessary.
