This adds a new public cogl_texture_rectangle_new_from_foreign()
function so that we can look at removing the generic
cogl_texture_new_from_foreign().

To delimit which symbols were considered experimental we used to use
some preprocessor defines to gives experimental symbols an _EXP suffix
so that anyone monitoring the ABI for changes would easily be able to
discount changes made to clearly experimental functions.
These days we simply rely on the gtk-doc "Stability: unstable"
annotation to serve this purpose because changing the actual symbol name
made it slightly more awkward to debug Cogl using GDB and was an extra
mechanical step we decided we could do without.
This patch removes the last remaining _EXP suffix defines in Cogl
(cherry picked from commit 5a1c4a979e00accd492097cfb8f6a8d0fd8331bc)
This splits out most of the OpenGL specific code from cogl-framebuffer.c
into cogl-framebuffer-gl.c and extends the CoglDriverVtable interface
for cogl-framebuffer.c to use.
There are hopes to support several different backends for Cogl
eventually to hopefully get us closer to the metal so this makes some
progress in organizing which parts of Cogl are OpenGL specific so these
parts can potentially be switched out later.
The only remaining use of OpenGL still in cogl-framebuffer.c is to
handle cogl_framebuffer_read_pixels.
This commit introduces some new framebuffer api to be able to
enable texture based depth buffers for a framebuffer (currently
only supported for offscreen framebuffers) and once allocated
to be able to retrieve the depth buffer as a texture for further
usage, say, to implement shadow mapping.
The API works as follow:
* Before the framebuffer is allocated, you can request that a depth
texture is created with
cogl_framebuffer_set_depth_texture_enabled()
* cogl_framebuffer_get_depth_texture() can then be used to grab a
CoglTexture once the framebuffer has been allocated.
With some recent changes to how mask textures are constructed from
shapes, a helper method we made was only called in one place, allowing
us to drop a reference/destroy, and remove a double clear.

Due to a conditional error, meta_region_builder_add_rectangle was called
on every single blank pixel, rather than at the end of spans. With the new
rename, it's fairly clear to see the error. Fix the check to ensure that
we no longer make extraneous calls to meta_region_builder_add_rectangle.

The behaviour imitates GtkEntry and ignores attributes from markup because Pango
barfs on invalid markup. Also add an example to the text-field interactive test.

As x11 considers num lock and scroll lock to be modifiers, code that
checks for an exact modifier combination will fail if naively done when
num lock or scroll lock are turned on. Applications that want to ignore
these modifiers will need to use XKB to manually mask out the modifier
state.
As it is very unlikely that applications will want to care about the
state of num lock or scroll lock for key press/key release events, mask
out the num lock and scroll lock keys automatically.

GtkWindow added the BACKGROUND style class to all windows, which the
CSS file selects on to set a background color for all windows. Without
this, the background color becomes undefined, and thus window frames
look like they have "glitchy" graphics.

The minimize action does not make much sense without a window list,
which is why its default keybinding was removed in bug 643609;
getting the focused window out of the way quickly can still be useful
though, so change the description to "Hide window" instead, which does
not imply a window list. We will then assign a default shortcut again.

This has been disabled since February 2008, on the grounds that XFixes
didn't work reliably for hiding cursors. This has almost certainly been
fixed then and seems to work entirely reliably across a number of X
servers released in the past few years, and is definitely better than a
1x1 black dot for a cursor.
Helpfully though, where the spec states that the cursor will be hidden
when inside the specified window or one of its children, it actually
only uses the window to look up the Screen, and hides the cursor across
the entire Screen. So, when using this, we also need to track crossing
events.
If it's still broken, this needs to be fixed in the X server.

MetaButtonLayout is extremely unfriendly for introspection: its fields
are arrays of a fixed length, but the actual length is determined by
a custom stop value (e.g. not NULL / 0).
Without API changes this will never work nicely in introspection, but
we can at least make it work; start by filling up unused fields with
the stop value rather than leaving it at random values.

The style context of the widget is rarely what we want. We won't
fix this to be a MetaFrames style context yet; this just changes
the internal API.
