1) This is the official GNOME browser. The default favorite apps are just some random picks, and anyone who wants to switch can obviously use patches. 2) mozilla.desktop isn't actually even upstream in Firefox, so this devolves to patches Fedora/Ubuntu carry to make one, meaning that others have to patch the app list anyways. https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=650616
