Getting fullscreen window tracking right in GNOME Shell turned out to be very hard, because it depended on details both how Mutter handled fullscreen windows and the exact timing of that. Fullscreen tracking and auto-minimization of fullscreen windows that lose their fullscreen status has thus been implemented in Mutter: use that. https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=649748
