With the message tray no longer being a distinctive UI element,
the existing <super>m shortcut for viewing the notification list
is no longer mnemonic. It is also less convenient as it requires
both hands with most keyboards. So make <super>v the new default
to _view_ notifications, which matches the corresponding Windows
default.
The previous default is kept as secondary shortcut to ease the
transition.

Since these settings are now going to be accessed by
gnome-control-center as well, its more appropriate for them to live in
gsettings-desktop-schemas.

Having the on/off setting be backed by a boolean in dconf makes sense
anyway but this is mainly to be able to remember the max accuracy set
before user disabled geolocation so that when they enable it next time,
we have the max accuracy level on same value as before.
There hasn't been a real need for this but now we are about to add
geolocation settings in control center and it'll be easiser for
control-center to simply toggle a boolean property rather than to have
to know about and deal with accuracy levels.
Later we might also want to add accuracy level settings to privacy panel
so keeping the accuracy level setting around still. However we no longer
support 'off' accuracy level as the new boolean property covers that.
This also implies that we no longer track available accuracy level,
which made the code a bit hard to follow/maintain.

Some entries have untranslatable descriptions/summaries. This means that
when running dconf-editor, some entries will get a translated descriptions,
and a few will not.

Add a key 'disable-extension-version-validation' key that disables
the validation of extension's claimed to be supported shell version
with the shell version and just load all extensions unconditionally.

Instead of relying on geoclue to store this user configuration, lets
keep it in gsettings. Geoclue is a system service and therefore is not
the appropriate entity to keep this info.

Rather than GMenu / app-folder-categories. This removes our last use of
gnome-menus in the stock gnome-shell, which is exciting, but also means
that app folders in Software start working.
Ideally, we'd have a button to launch our Software app as well from the
overview.

The application picker will always open with the view that was last
selected during the session, but the selection is reset on each
restart. This results in some annoyance for users that use the
ALL view exclusively, as they have to toggle views once each
session - the same would apply to exclusive FREQUENT view users
were the defaults to be changed, so the best solution is to simply
make the selected view persistent by storing it in GSettings.

Add an option to limit the appSwitcher to the current workspace. For users
that use workspaces for task separation this more convient then current
behviour. While having to add an option is unfortunate there is no way to make
both groups happy as workspaces usage differes between different users / types
of users.

When adding the window switcher, we copied our default values from
the alternate-tab extension. Arguably it makes more sense to mimick
the old mutter/metacity behavior though, so change the default
accordingly.

This is a new, regular keybinding for going to the overview.
The default binding is Super-S, which goes well with Super-A
for going to the application grid.
This is separate from the existing panel-main-menu keybinding,
so that we can keep Alt-F1 opening the main menu in classic mode.

App folders are intended for grouping some applications, not to
assign a category to every single application, so we will only
create folders for a selected subset of the existing categories.
Software/Alacarte will eventually allow to create/modify those
folders, so store the setting in GSettings so that it can be
shared with those applications.

Now that we use the new 'switch-applications' keybinding for the
application-based alt-tab popup, we can use the 'switch-windows'
keybinding for a more traditional switcher.
Based heavily on the alternate-tab extension from Giovanni Campagna.

At the moment, only the mouse can be used to focus and answer a chat
notification.
This adds a new keybinding (defaults to <Super>+n) to focus and expand
the active notification.

I've heard quite a bit of feedback from people who want to log out,
even if they are the sole user on their system. It doesn't seem worth
alienating them over this; so add a setting to make the 'Log out' item
always show up.

This is a workaround for power users for the "Show Apps" button
placement being too inconvenient to press at the bottom of the
dash favorites list.
Unity also uses Super+A to show the Apps lens.

The application menu is currently unusable with non-maximized
windows when using focus-follows-mouse mode. Override mutter's
focus-change-on-pointer-rest preference, so that the actual
focus change is delayed until the pointer stops moving.

The speed and quality properties have been removed in favor of properties
closer to the upstream library.
Removing the properies from the pipeline would result into a huge
slowdown so we have to map the old values to the new ones.
According to the source code of the old vp8enc element quality maps to
(int)(63 - quality * 6.2) for min_quantizer and max_quantizer, while
speed maps to cpu-used = speed == 0 ? 0 : (speed - 1).
So set min_quantizer and min_quantizer to 13, and cpu-used to 5 based on
the above formulas.
