In `st`, we can do this by using `ST_PARAM_*`. In the other code files,
just use `G_PARAM_STATIC_STRINGS` directly.
This is just a minor convenience to prevent a few unnecessary string
copies.

instead of explicit screen arguments and `gdk_screen_get_number()`, as nowadays there
is always only one screen. This silences some deprecation warnings and removes
deprecated API.
Bonus: some code style cleanups

Meson is on track to replace autotools as the build system of choice,
so support it in addition to autotools. If all goes well, we'll
eventually be able to drop the latter ...

gdk_window_set_composited() is deprecated, and we don't need it as
we end up setting it to the default anyway.
We do need gtk_widget_set_double_buffered() though, which has been
deprecated as well because it is only meaningful on X11 - but so
is XEmbed, so just shut up that warning.
Composite is a hard requirement for mutter's compositor, so if we get
to the point of managing the tray, we already know that the extension
is supported. So let's get rid of yet another deprecation warning.
It has been deprecated for a while in favor of GdkRgba, though in our
case translating ClutterColors to an intermediate color type before
setting _NET_SYSTEM_TRAY_COLORS is a bit silly, so just move to
ClutterColor as the rest of the code base.
Due to recent GTK+ changes X11 specific code was moved into different
headers. As Socket/Plug is X11 only this broke our calls to GtkSocket
in the tray code. Fix this by including the new gtkx.h header.
Plugging the GtkSocket icon can fail, in which case NaTrayManager emits
tray-icon-removed but the icon has never emitted plug-added, thus the
ShellTrayIcon has not been created. This results in various criticals
and exceptions in the tray-icon-removed handler.

gdk_screen_get_rgb_colormap() has been removed from GTK+; there's
no longer a special visual that is used for drawing true-color
images distinct from the system visual. So, we don't need to
check for it; if the visual isn't the system visual, we just
fall through to the case where we create a new GdkColormap.
To replace all calls to deprecated code, GTK+ 2.20 is required - add
some basic compatibility code, so that is still possible to build the
shell with GTK+ 2.18 when not using -DGSEAL_ENABLE.

With the transition to GTK+ 3.0, direct access to struct members
will no longer be possible.
This bumps the required minimum version of GTK+ to 2.20.

na-tray-child.[ch]: Add na_tray_child_set_composited() to allow the
application to modify the behavior where gdk_window_set_composited(TRUE)
is called for icons with alpha. Rename na_tray_child_is_composited() to
na_tray_child_has_alpha() to better reflect the meaning and fix things
so that it can be called at any time and not only after the icon is
realized.
na-tray.c: Adapt to na_tray_child_is_composited() rename.

* na-tray-child.c: (na_tray_child_size_request): remove translatable

notification are to the panel. A bit warty, but we don't know how we want
the final UI to look anyway. (The fact that transparency doesn't work is
a known bug.)
